Apple reportedly nearing launch of Siri-powered smart home hub

Apple is accepting claims from U.S. purchasers of iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, or any iPhone 16 model bought between June 10 2024 and March 29 2025. Claimants must submit their name, contact details, and device serial number before the December 21 2026 deadline via the settlement website. The $250 million class-action settlement addresses accusations that Apple created a “clear and reasonable consumer expectation” for AI-upgraded Siri after showcasing features at WWDC 2024, yet launched the iPhone 16 with limited capabilities.

Payouts are estimated at $25 per eligible phone, potentially increasing to $95 based on the number of claims filed. Apple has denied any wrongdoing in the matter.
