Apple rolls out $299 HomeView smart display and new Home Collection accessories
Apple has launched HomeView, a 7‑inch square Liquid Retina smart display that runs Siri AI and is available in tabletop and wall‑mount versions for $299, with a 12‑megapixel FaceTime camera and interchangeable faces that echo Apple Watch designs. The device can dim to 0.3 nits, includes a down‑firing woofer and passive radiators, and supports native iOS apps, voice and video services, as well as a Safari‑based recipe view.
At the same event Apple announced a Home Collection of six smart‑home accessories—including indoor and outdoor cameras, a video doorbell, a UWB‑enabled deadbolt lock, and two thermostats—produced in partnership with LG Electronics and Schneider Electric, with prices ranging from $199 to $399. The HomeView is slated to ship on Friday, November 13, and the Home Collection devices will be sold in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
