Apple to unveil iPhone 18 Pro line and first foldable on Sept. 9

Apple has confirmed a September 9 event where it will debut the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and a new foldable iPhone, with pricing details for India still unannounced.

Apple will host its next flagship iPhone showcase on September 9 at 10:30 PM IST, the first such event overseen by new chief executive John Ternus. The agenda is expected to focus on the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, which are rumored to retain 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch OLED panels with 120 Hz refresh rates, a triple-camera array of 48 MP sensors, and a variable-aperture main lens possibly limited to the Pro Max. Both models should be powered by the upcoming A20 Pro processor fabricated on a 2 nm node, alongside up to 12 GB of RAM and Apple’s C2 modem.

In addition, Apple is poised to introduce its inaugural foldable phone, referred to in leaks as the iPhone Fold or iPhone Ultra, featuring a book-style hinge, a 7.8-inch unfolded screen, a 5.5-inch cover display, and dual front cameras, with Touch ID replacing Face ID. Pricing for the Indian market is projected at around ₹1.34 lakh for the base Pro, ₹1.55-₹1.70 lakh for the Pro Max, and well above ₹1.5 lakh for the foldable, though official numbers remain pending.
