Apple trims price of its polishing cloth by $10

Apple announced a new iteration of its polishing cloth, now sold for $9 instead of the former $19 price. The item’s description is identical to the earlier offering, emphasizing a soft, non-abrasive fabric that safely cleans all Apple displays, including nano-texture models. The previous version is no longer listed on Apple’s site, suggesting the newer, cheaper version replaces it.

Compatibility remains extensive, covering devices from the iPhone 5 onward and any Mac Studio or Mac Mini paired with a Studio Display. Aside from the reduced cost, no design or material changes are evident. The launch coincides with refreshed Mac Mini models, though those devices lack screens and thus cannot use the cloth directly.
