Apple TV+ Confirms No New ‘Sugar’ Episode This Week, Season 2 Ends
Season 2 of Apple TV+’s neo-noir series Sugar wrapped with episode 8 on August 7, and no episode is scheduled for August 13-14.
Apple TV+’s second season of the sci-fi detective drama Sugar finished with the eighth installment, “Like Sugar,” which aired on August 7 and resolved most of the season’s arcs. No additional episode is slated for the week of August 13-14, leaving the series on a pause. The season comprised eight episodes in total, and the series has not yet received a third-season order, despite showrunner Sam Catlin and lead Colin Farrell indicating unresolved narrative potential.
Historically, Apple TV+ waited several months after a season’s debut before confirming renewals, as it did after Season 1. If renewed, a new season could arrive in 2027. Meanwhile, the series remains available on Apple TV+ with subscription options and bundled deals.
Why it matters
Viewers need to know that no new “Sugar” episode is airing now and that the show’s future remains uncertain.
