AR Rahman and Hans Zimmer to co-host London musical showcase for 'Ramayana: Part 1'

Nitesh Tiwari’s mythological epic 'Ramayana: Part 1' is ramping up its global marketing with a high-profile musical evening in London on October 20, featuring Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman and five-time Grammy winner Hans Zimmer as hosts. The venue is expected to be the Royal Albert Hall, though official confirmation is pending. The event will likely bring together the film’s principal cast—Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash—alongside director Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra, offering a preview of the soundtrack crafted by Rahman and Zimmer.

This showcase is timed to lead into the launch of the second trailer, anticipated around October 23, and the release of the first promotional song portraying the wedding of Lord Ram and Sita. Additionally, the film’s international rollout has been adjusted, with Sony Pictures Australia announcing an Australian opening on November 5, ahead of the Indian Diwali release on November 8, setting up a competitive box-office clash with other major releases.
