Ariana Grande Switches to Flats for Final London Dates After Foot Cut

Ariana Grande told fans she will perform the last two London shows of her tour in comfortable shoes because of a minor foot injury.

Ariana Grande announced via Instagram Story that a recent foot injury—a deep cut rather than a muscular sprain—means she must wear flat, bandaged shoes for her upcoming shows at London’s The O2. She explained the injury could make putting weight on the foot difficult, but assured fans the show will go on. The comment came after videos showed her limping at the end of Friday’s concert.

These concerts are the final two dates of her Eternal Sunshine Tour, which launched in June and supports her July-released eighth album, Petal. After the London residency ends, Grande plans to step back from public appearances for a break. She later clarified in Chicago that this hiatus was a pre-planned, thoughtful decision, not a reaction to recent scrutiny.

Why it matters

Fans and ticket holders need to know the performer’s condition and the change in her stage attire for the final shows.
