Arivihan Secures $10 Million Series A to Grow AI Tutoring Across India
Edtech startup Arivihan raised $10 million in a Series A round to expand its AI-driven learning platform into new Indian states and the CBSE board.
Arivihan, an AI-powered tutoring platform for school students, announced a $10 million Series A financing round headed by its current investors Accel and Prosus Ventures, plus a $200,000 injection from GSF angel investors. The round lifts the startup's total funding to more than $15 million since its July 2025 pre-Series A raise. The capital will fund expansion into further Indian states and the national CBSE curriculum, as well as strengthen AI research and vernacular-language capabilities, and support performance-marketing and on-ground distribution.
The firm, founded in 2022 by IIT Roorkee graduates Ritesh Singh Chandel and Sonu Kumar together with math teacher Rushabh Kothari, offers personalized video lessons, instant doubt-clearing and study plans, claiming ten-fold scalability over conventional coaching. Its user base is largely from Tier-3 cities and rural areas, and the company aims to deepen its presence in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Bihar while launching new crash courses.
