Arizona father allegedly murders pregnant wife after brutal assault and vehicle attack

Police say Joseph Clark beat, stab and then run over his pregnant wife, Noelle Clark, in their Vail home before surrendering.

In Vail, Arizona, investigators claim Joseph Clark violently attacked his pregnant wife, Noelle Clark, inside their children’s bedroom, inflicting belt-like lash marks and a chest stab wound. He then moved her corpse to the garage and deliberately ran her over with their vehicle, leaving distinct tire impressions on her arms and the floor. The couple’s two kids, a 2-year-old and a 5-year-old, were discovered unharmed on the home’s stairs.

After the assault, Clark exited the house, called law enforcement to report the killing, and was taken into custody. Police reported that Clark alleged his wife had been torturing him, though no physical evidence supported his claim. He faces two second-degree murder charges and a $1 million bail.
