Armed Customer Shoots Knife-Wielding Robber Outside Texas Chase Bank
A customer opened fire on a knife-wielding robber attempting to steal from a Chase bank in Cedar Hill, Texas, killing the suspect.
Around 9:00 a.m., officers were dispatched to a Chase bank in the Dallas-area suburb of Cedar Hill after reports of an armed robbery. Witnesses said the robber pulled a knife and threatened bank staff, prompting a customer to fire at him. The suspect was hit, escaped the parking lot, and subsequently died from his wounds at a local hospital.
The armed citizen remained at the bank, assisted police, and was not charged at the time of reporting. Local police confirmed that no officers, employees, or other patrons were injured.
