Armed intruder fatally shot after stabbing mother and daughter in Sacramento garage
A knife-wielding attacker entered a family garage on Diablo Drive, stabbed a 63-year-old mother and her 26-year-old daughter, and was killed by deputies.
On the morning of July 15, Sacramento officers captured video of 23-year-old Fareyeshyi Allahdin carrying a kitchen-style knife after being seen in a local Starbucks. He later ran down Diablo Drive, entered a garage at the 5700 block, and attacked a 63-year-old mother who was getting into her vehicle, stabbing her repeatedly. The mother’s 26-year-old daughter rushed to help, wrestled the attacker, and was then stabbed as well.
Deputies arrived, shouted commands to drop the knife, and shot Allahdin dead when he persisted. Fire crews pronounced the suspect dead on scene, while the mother and daughter were taken to hospital in serious but stable condition. Authorities described the assault as random with no known connection to the victims.
