Armed police secure South Auckland clinic after incident injures two patients

Armed police were deployed outside a health centre in South Auckland as investigators responded to an incident that left two people in serious condition.

At around midday, officials were alerted to an incident at a health clinic on Harwell Place in Māngere, South Auckland. Hato Hone St John confirmed that ambulance crews treated two individuals and transferred them to hospital, both listed as serious. The emergency response comprised two ambulances, two rapid-response units and an operations manager.
