Around 360 participants pull a Pokemon-themed Boeing 787 at Narita
Approximately 360 children and adults hauled a 133-ton Boeing 787 painted with Pokémon characters about 80 meters at Narita Airport.
A crowd of roughly 360 volunteers, including youngsters, attached a 100-meter rope to a 62.8-meter-long Boeing 787 decorated with Pokémon motifs. They pulled the aircraft about 80 meters across the tarmac at Narita, one of Japan’s busiest international airports. The event was organized by the airport operator to spark interest in aviation, and participants sang and cheered as the plane moved slowly. The jet mainly serves routes within Asia. A 7-year-old participant remarked that moving the plane was fun and it didn’t feel heavy.
