Around 50 Russian passengers from seized vessel allowed to return from Svalbard

Norwegian officials seized the vessel Professor Moltsjanov last week, leaving its passengers stuck in the Russian settlement of Barentsburg on Svalbard. The governor of the archipelago, Lars Fause, has arranged transport for roughly 50 Russian nationals to depart for the mainland. The ship remains moored at the port while the repatriation process proceeds.
