Asda launches Christmas delivery slots with early access for Delivery Pass members
Asda began offering Christmas grocery delivery bookings on October 13, but only customers with a Delivery Pass can reserve slots during the first week; everyone else must wait until October 20.
Asda announced that Christmas food delivery and Click & Collect slots for December 21, 22 and 23 are now open for reservation, with the booking system launching on Tuesday, October 13. Early access is limited to members of the Asda Delivery Pass, who can select their preferred times a week before the slots become available to the general public on October 20. The Delivery Pass costs £3.95 per month for Tuesday-Thursday deliveries or £6.95 per month for any day on a 12-month plan, and removes individual delivery fees while granting priority booking.
A £40 minimum order is required for home deliveries, and slots are allocated based on the shopper’s postcode. Customers may amend most orders until 11 pm the night before delivery, except for special festive items that must be finalized by December 15. Competitors Tesco and Morrisons are also expanding their Christmas delivery offerings, prompting shoppers to check each retailer’s booking timelines.
Why it matters
Early booking determines whether shoppers secure convenient delivery slots for essential holiday meals.
