Aselsan secures over $6 billion in contracts within two weeks
Aselsan reported that contracts signed since Sept 23 total roughly $6.15 billion, highlighted by a €2.46 billion hybrid air-defence deal with the Presidency of Defense Industries.
Since Sept 23, Aselsan has accumulated contracts valued at approximately $6.15 billion, driven by a €2.46 billion agreement with the Presidency of Defense Industries for hybrid air-defence systems and a $195 million radar procurement. The company also secured export orders worth €157.9 billion for electronic warfare, electro-optics, seeker heads and related weaponry, plus a €488.5 million sale of air-defence systems to an overseas client.
Further deals include more than €1 billion for mass production of long-range air-defence platforms and a €1.23 billion supply of subcomponents to Roketsan. CEO Ahmet Akyol highlighted the strengthening of the domestic "Steel Dome" network and pledged continued work toward an independent defence industry. Aselsan, Turkey’s largest listed firm by market cap, posted a 50% rise in 2025 net income and over 70% growth in the first half of this year.
