Astra TV Awards to Honor Macy, Hatosy, Kotsur and Other TV Talent
The Astra TV Awards ceremony in Los Angeles will recognize actors William H. Macy, Shawn Hatosy, Troy Kotsur and several others with special honors.
The upcoming Astra TV Awards, scheduled for Saturday at the InterContinental in Los Angeles, will celebrate a slate of television performers with dedicated honorary distinctions. Lisa Ann Walter will serve as host while William H. Macy receives the timeless award, Shawn Hatosy the virtuoso award, and Troy Kotsur the impact award. Other honorees feature Cedric the Entertainer, Jason Ritter and Natalie Alyn Lind, each receiving a specific spotlight award.
Executive vice president Matt Weiss praised the lineup, noting their contributions to the medium. Presenters such as Katherine LaNasa and William Stanford Davis have been confirmed, and the ceremony will be livestreamed on the Astra Awards’ YouTube channel at 7 p.m. PT. Voting is conducted by members of the Hollywood Creative Alliance, comprising critics, journalists and industry insiders.
