Audi reports sharp drop in quarterly vehicle deliveries amid global market pressures

Audi announced a steep decline in its latest quarterly deliveries, marking a faster slide than in the previous quarter.

Audi disclosed that its vehicle deliveries for the most recent quarter dropped markedly, deepening a decline that began earlier in the year. The company reported that cumulative shipments for the first three quarters of the year were considerably below the same period last year. Despite slight positive performance in Germany and the broader European market, the automaker faced reduced sales in China and the United States, where competitive pressures and tariff impacts are strongest.

The lack of a U.S. production base makes the tariff burden especially acute for Audi compared with some rivals. The firm also noted that ongoing model changes for the A1 and Q2 volume models are contributing to one outlet downturn. Overall, the figures highlight the challenges German manufacturers face in a weakening global automotive market.
