Audit Office criticizes Justice Minister Van Weel's explanation of untreated serious crime reports

According to one outlet audit institution, the Justice Minister’s briefing to parliament about pending serious crime reports was inaccurate. Van Weel had suggested that most of the cases were merely notifications, a claim the auditors say is unfounded. The audit also found later explanations of the figures to be insufficient.
