AUR insiders claim Marius Lulea is no longer a party member

Party figure Dan Dungaciu said twice that Marius Lulea is no longer in AUR, a claim neither Lulea nor party leader Petrișor Peiu confirmed.

During statements after meetings at the Cotroceni Palace, Dan Dungaciu asserted that Marius Lulea has been removed from the AUR roster. Lulea did not respond to a reporter’s request for comment, and Petrișor Peiu said he had not heard of any such exclusion. Peiu was asked whether the alleged expulsion was driven by George Simion, but offered no confirmation. The dispute follows Lulea’s previous role as the party’s number two before being replaced by Dungaciu in November 2025.
