Australian tourist critically stabbed inside Manhattan McDonald's early Monday
A 19-year-old Australian visitor was stabbed at a McDonald’s on Eighth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan and rushed to Bellevue Hospital in critical condition.
Law-enforcement sources said the young tourist was eating inside the fast-food restaurant around 2 a.m. when an altercation led to a stabbing to his rib cage and back. The victim was transported to Bellevue Hospital in critical condition. Police have taken a person of interest into custody. The incident is still under investigation.
