Authors amend mouse brain atlas paper to fix labeling and data errors
The authors of a mouse brain stereotaxic atlas have issued a correction, fixing a typo in a gene label, updating a Dice score, and revising voxel dimensions and sample sizes.
A correction notice has been published for the mouse brain stereotaxic topographic atlas that originally appeared in Nature. The amendment addresses several inaccuracies: the gene driver label in Extended Data Fig. 2 has been changed from “Exm1-Cre” to the correct “Emx1-Cre”. In Extended Data Fig. 4e, the Dice similarity coefficient for the isocortex of dataset 210692 has been revised, and the legend now correctly states the medial habenula sample size as “n = 20” instead of “n = 19”.
The Methods description of whole-head dataset acquisition now specifies a voxel resolution of 0.325 × 0.325 × 1 μm³, aligning with the exact figure reported in the Results. All corrected text, figures, and source data have been updated in the HTML and PDF versions, and the original figure is retained as supplementary information.
