Authors amend mouse data in RNA editing study after copy-paste mistake
A correction has been issued for a Nature Communications paper after data for mouse 12 in Figure 7j were overwritten by mouse 6 data.
The study titled “Effective in vivo RNA base editing via engineered cytidine deaminase APOBECs fused with PUF proteins” published in Nature Communications has been corrected. An error was discovered in Figure 7j and the accompanying source data where the values for mouse 12 were mistakenly overwritten by those of mouse 6 due to a copy-paste mishap. The journal has replaced the incorrect figure and data in both the HTML and PDF formats.
To preserve transparency, the uncorrected figure is now available as supplementary information linked to the amendment. The correction notice lists the authors Han W., Yuan B., and Fan X. and reiterates the article’s open-access licensing terms.
