Awaited PM-Kisan 24th instalment: release date unclear, how to verify payment
The government has not announced when the 24th ₹2,000 PM-Kisan payment will be disbursed, and farmers can check their status online.
As of October 13, 2026, the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has not issued an official date for the 24th ₹2,000 instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. The previous, 23rd instalment was credited on June 20, 2026, after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced it in West Bengal. Farmers eligible under the scheme receive a total of ₹6,000 annually in three equal payments, contingent on verified Aadhaar, bank account, and land ownership details.
To track the pending payment, beneficiaries should log onto pmkisan.gov.in, select “Know Your Status,” input their registration number, solve the captcha, request an OTP, and view the displayed status. If the payment does not appear, they may need to update registration data, re-submit e-KYC, confirm land records, or link Aadhaar to their bank account.
