Ayer Holdings subsidiary to buy two Kuchai Lama parcels for RM138 million

Ayer Holdings Bhd, through its wholly-owned arm Kuchai Urban Development Sdn Bhd, intends to acquire two parcels of land along Jalan Kuchai Lama from Bukit Cemerlang Sdn Bhd for a total of RM138 million. The sites are situated in the established Kuchai Lama neighbourhood, which features a mix of shophouses, terraced houses, apartments and serviced apartments. The company said the transaction supports its objective of expanding its property business by enlarging its landbank and pursuing new development projects.

Historically, Ayer has concentrated its development activities in Bandar Bukit Puchong; this purchase marks a shift toward the Klang Valley’s broader market to mitigate concentration risk. The proposal was reported in a recent Bursa Malaysia filing.
