Bajaj Finance lifts fixed-deposit rates, senior citizen bonus climbs to 8.15%
Bajaj Finance has raised its fixed-deposit rates, offering up to 7.75% for regular customers and 8.15% for senior citizens on 31-60 month tenures.
Bajaj Finance announced a revision of its fixed-deposit interest structure. For new deposits, regular customers can now earn up to 7.75% per annum on tenures of 31 to 60 months, up from 7.40%, while the 12-17 month and 18-30 month slabs have risen to 6.80% and 7.00% respectively. Senior citizens receive an added 0.40% on all tenures, giving them a maximum rate of 8.15% for the longest term, up from 7.75%. Renewal of maturing deposits carries an extra 0.10% uplift, resulting in rates of 7.85% for regular and 8.25% for seniors. The new rates apply to deposits ranging from Rs 15,000 to Rs 3 crore.
