Bali fuel queues begin to shrink as Pertamina ramps up deliveries

Fuel shortages on Bali are gradually easing, with station lines reported to be shrinking after Pertamina dispatched additional tanker trucks and kept its terminals operating around the clock. The effort is overseen by Pertamina Patra Niaga officials, including Mars Ega Legowo, and supported by corporate communications vice‑president Kitty Andhora urging the public to limit purchases to needed amounts. Earlier shipments delivered smaller volumes to the Karangasem Manggis and Denpasar Sanggaran fuel terminals, and the company is adding 60 more 24‑hour stations and mobilising extra personnel and transport fleets to improve service. While some queues remain, officials say national reserves are sufficient and attribute the lingering lines to distribution hiccups rather than an overall fuel shortage.
