Bang Chan donates 200 million won to Korean rehab hospital and Nepal flood relief
Stray Kids leader Bang Chan gave 200 million won, split between Seoul Rehabilitation Hospital and UNICEF Korea for Nepal flood recovery.
Bang Chan, frontman of Stray Kids, donated a total of 200 million won, allocating half to Seoul Rehabilitation Hospital and half to the Korean Committee for UNICEF. The hospital portion will be used to establish specialized rehabilitation units tailored to patients’ ages and conditions, and the UNICEF contribution will aid recovery efforts after major flooding in Nepal. In a press release, Bang Chan expressed a desire to provide some relief to people enduring difficult times.
This act adds to a pattern of philanthropy, including past gifts to Samsung Medical Center, the Community Chest of Korea, and disaster-relief collaborations with Hope Bridge and World Vision. Beyond his charitable work, Bang Chan remains active as a songwriter and producer within Stray Kids’ 3Racha unit. The group continues its “Run It” world tour, with upcoming shows in Mexico City and recent performances in Bogota and Buenos Aires.
