Barilla Group to Acquire Gal Gadot’s Goodles Mac-and-Cheese Brand

Goodles, the mac-and-cheese brand created by actress Gal Gadot and her husband Jaron Varsano, has signed an agreement to be acquired by the Barilla Group, the global leader in pasta. Founded in October 2020 as Gooder Foods, Goodles positions its products as more nutritious and flavorful than traditional options. The transaction, which still requires regulatory approval, will leave the company’s Santa Cruz, California base intact and allow it to operate as an independent brand.

CEO Jen Zeszut will continue to lead the 73-employee team, and Barilla’s chairman Guido Barilla said the partnership aligns with both companies’ focus on quality and growth. No financial details were released, and it remains unclear how involved Gadot will be after the merger.
