Among the injuries, 3,166 were recorded, of which 827 were deemed dangerous or severe, and 665 incidents involved threats. The ministry also noted a decline from the previous year, attributing it to reduced arrivals and lower occupancy.
AfD parliamentarian Gerd Mannes asked for details on police operations and arrest warrants, but officials said the information was not centrally compiled and would require extensive manual review. The ministry emphasized that the crime statistics were extracted via the PKS parameter for asylum shelter locations.
