Bayern Munich draws challenging group for 2026/27 Champions League campaign

Bayern Munich's 2026/27 Champions League group features home games against FK Bodø/Glimt and Slavia Praha, and an away match versus Viking.

Bayern Munich has received its group-stage opponents for the 2026/27 Champions League, drawing a home game against Norway's FK Bodø/Glimt, another home fixture versus Czech club Slavia Praha, and an away clash with Viking. The tournament awards the eight highest-ranked teams an automatic place in the round of 16, while the next sixteen (positions 9-24) enter a two-legged playoff to reach that stage. Within that bracket, clubs ranked 9-16 are seeded and will host the second leg against unseeded sides ranked 17-24.

The bottom twelve clubs, placed 25-36, are eliminated after the league phase. Manager Vincent Kompany’s side now faces a challenging start as it aims for the title.
