Bayern near Harry Kane extension as Barcelona, Tottenham and United show interest

Bayern Munich are on the verge of a contract renewal with striker Harry Kane, even as Barcelona, Tottenham and Manchester United have made inquiries.

Bayern Munich are intensifying talks to extend the contract of star forward Harry Kane, believing the England captain is ready to commit his future to the German side. Both FC Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur have recently approached Kane’s representatives, with Barcelona also monitoring the departure of veteran Robert Lewandowski and keeping Julian Alvarez in view. Tottenham, now led by Roberto De Zerbi, have signaled a desire to reunite with their former record scorer.

Manchester United’s co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe is reported to be a fan of Kane, though the player has not been actively seeking a transfer. The club’s board, including Max Eberl, is also under pressure to deliver sales of players such as João Palhinha, Sacha Boey and Bryan Zaragoza. Additional transfer chatter includes Manchester United targeting RB Leipzig left-back David Raum and Paris Saint-Germain negotiating for Mika Godts and Ferrán Torres, while Fenerbahçe are close to securing Romelu Lukaku from Napoli.

Why it matters

Kane’s contract decision will shape Bayern’s attacking options and influence the European transfer market.
