Beacon Software acquires Haize Labs to boost AI reliability for core industries

Beacon Software, the first centralized AI holding company, disclosed that it has acquired Haize Labs, which focuses on AI reliability and safety testing. The Haize Labs team will become part of Beacon’s newly created Applied AI Research Group, with co-founder Leonard Tang taking the role of Vice President of AI Research to oversee the company’s AI operating system. Beacon’s founder and CEO Nilam Ganenthiran said the move will give small and midsize firms access to AI talent and technology comparable to that of large corporations.

The acquisition is intended to strengthen Beacon’s central AI platform, offering shared expertise in design, development and product commercialization for its 45 software subsidiaries across sectors like leisure, public utilities, education, public administration and manufacturing. The group will focus on building reusable AI infrastructure, sector-specific evaluation standards, continuous testing and red-team activities, and AI products that reduce administrative burdens and improve customer service.
