Belgian court hears murder trial of Myriam Ullens, killed by her stepson
The trial of Nicolas Ullens for the killing of his father's second wife, Myriam Ullens, began in Nivelles, while the billionaire baron Guy Ullens has already died.
A sensational murder trial started in Nivelles, Brabant Wallon, as prosecutors present the case against Nicolas Ullens for the killing of Myriam Ullens, the second wife of the late billionaire baron Guy Ullens de Schooten Whettnall. The indictment details a violent shooting at the Ullens' 1,100-square-metre villa in Ohian, where six 9 mm cartridges from a Glock 43 were recovered. Myriam Ullens died instantly after being hit by six projectiles, two of which penetrated her skull and one that struck her heart.
The Institut national de criminalistique’s ballistic report links the ammunition to the weapon owned by Nicolas. Guy Ullens, who had built the estate, passed away on 19 April 2025 at the same location, adding a further layer of tragedy to the family saga.
