Ben-Gvir's Otzma Yehudit accused of operating 100+ AI-driven bot network

FakeReporter’s latest investigation revealed a coordinated network of more than one hundred social-media accounts that masquerade as ordinary Israelis, using AI-generated avatars and uniform messaging. The accounts are linked to the campaign office of Otzma Yehudit’s manager Ofer Rosenbaum and consistently promote National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir’s platform while launching coordinated attacks on coalition figures, rival parties, and outlets like Channel 14.

Sample posts targeted Religious Zionist Party leader Bezalel Smotrich’s settlement proposals and criticized Amcha Yisrael chairman Ofer Winter, among others. The watchdog warns that such inauthentic activity likely violates Israel’s election propaganda regulations and urges the Central Elections Committee to investigate. FakeReporter CEO Nir Rosen called the practice a deception of voters and an erosion of public trust. Ben-Gvir’s camp rejected the report, labeling FakeReporter as a left-wing group backed by foreign money.
