Berlin Brothersvalley High Secures $5,000 T-Mobile Friday Night 5G Lights Grant

Berlin Brothersvalley High School was named one of T-Mobile's Friday Night 5G Lights winners, receiving a $5,000 award on Aug. 10.

On Aug. 10, Berlin Brothersvalley High School was announced as a recipient of $5,000 from T-Mobile's Friday Night 5G Lights contest, which highlights high-school football programs and local support. The school is one of 13 Pennsylvania winners so far. One outlet director Doug Paul explained that the funds will be used to enhance the press box area, building on recent upgrades to the Center Rock Inc. Sports Complex that were financed by corporate sponsorships and private donors.

The national competition can award up to $25,000 for division finalists, a $250,000 Gronk Fitness Gym, a $5,000 student leadership award, and a $1 million full-field transformation for the overall champion.
