Bezzecchi clinches pole and track record at Misano, Marquez and Aldeguer on front row
Marco Bezzecchi secured pole position with a new lap record at Misano, ahead of Marc Marquez, while Fermin Aldeguer also qualified on the front row.
In qualifying for the Misano sprint, Aprilia rider Marco Bezzecchi posted the fastest time of 1'29"982, setting a new circuit record and taking pole. He was followed by Marc Marquez on a Ducati, with Fermin Aldeguer completing the front row. The second row features Fabio Di Giannantonio, Jorge Martin and Luca Marini. Other qualifiers include Pedro Acosta, Franco Morbidelli, Alex Marquez, Raul Fernandez, Johann Zarco and Pol Espargaro. Francesco Bagnaia missed the second qualifying session and will start 14th.
