Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari accuses India of fabricating war pretext and losing

On X, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari condemned India for initiating a war founded on a lie and losing miserably, pointing to the May 2025 hostilities. His comment followed Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s interview with an Indian media outlet, during which Ibrahim declined to call Pakistan’s conduct terrorism and emphasized the need for evidence. Bilawal highlighted that India’s narrative had been exposed internationally and called for the country to fulfill cease-fire obligations and discuss disputes with Pakistan.
He stressed that cooperation could bring peace, prosperity, and stability to the region. The 2025 conflict began after an attack on tourists in Pahalgam, which New Delhi blamed on Pakistan without proof, leading to air strikes and aerial battles before a U.S.-mediated cease-fire on May 10.
