Bill Maher confirms second private dinner with President Trump next week
Comedian Bill Maher said on his Club Random podcast that he accepted President Donald Trump's invitation for another private dinner at the White House next week.
During a recent episode of his Club Random podcast, Bill Maher announced he will attend a second private dinner with President Donald Trump at the White House next week. Maher, who often calls out Democratic figures, said the invitation arrived unexpectedly and he could not decline a meeting with the president, whom he described as having "good humor." He recalled that Trump assured him he would not repeat prior negative remarks and expressed gratitude for the continued dialogue.
Maher also rebuked Larry David's criticism of his first dinner, calling the reaction hypocritical. The invitation was communicated through Ari Emanuel, a Hollywood agent who previously represented Trump on The Apprentice. Maher contrasted his ease of conversation with Trump to his experiences with former presidents Clinton and Obama.
