Billionaire Marc Rowan Funds AIPAC Super PAC While Serving on Trump Gaza Board

Apollo Global Management CEO Marc Rowan has provided $1.5 million to the United Democracy Project, a super PAC affiliated with the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, with $1 million contributed in early March and $500,000 in late July. The AIPAC-linked super PAC spent roughly $50,000 on campaign mailers in Michigan targeting pro-Palestine Senate hopeful Abdul El-Sayed and $100,000 on phone-banking efforts in Missouri against former Rep. Cori Bush.

Rowan’s donations also extend to individual pro-Israel candidates such as Rep. Josh Gottheimer, Sen. Cory Booker, Rep. Angie Craig, Rep. Mike Rogers, Sen. Ashley Moody and Rep. Brian Mast. He serves on President Donald Trump’s Board of Peace, a UN-approved body tasked with implementing Trump’s Gaza plan, prompting advocacy groups to question the influence of his financial support on policy decisions. While the UDP has not clarified which of its activities were funded by Rowan, his involvement underscores the intersection of private wealth, lobbying, and U.S. foreign-policy initiatives concerning Israel and Gaza.
