Binastra posts sharp Q2 profit jump as construction drives growth

Binastra Corp Bhd posted a net profit of RM50.62 million for the quarter ended July 31 2025, up from RM28.42 million a year earlier, thanks to strong construction revenue.

Binastra Corp Bhd’s Q2 results showed net profit climbing to RM50.62 million from RM28.42 million a year earlier, while revenue surged to RM658.39 million versus RM396.84 million. The construction arm, now bolstered by the acquisition of LF Lansen Sdn Bhd, generated RM658.2 million, up from RM396.6 million, and included RM97.4 million in solar-installation work. Conventional construction and data-centre projects added RM164.2 million, reaching RM560.8 million.

For the first half of FY27, profit reached RM85.89 million on revenue of RM1.26 billion. Managing director Datuk Jackson Tan Kak Seng highlighted progress in data-centre construction, noting seven projects worth about RM2.4 billion, and an order book now around RM6.7 billion. The firm declared a first interim dividend of 4.0 sen per share, amounting to RM43.8 million.
