Bishop LeBlond softball aims to build on rapid turnaround
Coach Racheal Stump's second season saw the Golden Eagles improve from a single win to a district final, and the team hopes to keep progressing.
Head coach Racheal Stump led Bishop LeBlond softball from a 1-19 season to a 10-11 record and a district championship appearance in just one year. Senior Avery Ransom described the previous season as a casual effort, while sophomore Brynna Miller, an All-State honoree, provides veteran pitching strength. The team plans to add a freshman to the front of the rotation alongside a possible junior contributor.
Despite a roster limited to nine athletes, seniors Presley Miljavic and Haven Wright are accustomed to the thin depth. The program’s goal this year is to repeat or improve upon the district final run, continuing the swift rebuild.
