BJP leader Gaurav Bhatia files Rs 2 crore defamation suit in Delhi High Court

Gaurav Bhatia, a member of the BJP, filed a Rs 2 crore defamation suit in the Delhi High Court, naming Saurav Das, Ashutosh Ranka, Abhijeet Dipke and the Cockroach Janata Party as defendants. The filing, identified as Gaurav Bhatia versus Saurav Das & Ors., falls under the court's ordinary original civil jurisdiction. In a post on X, Bhatia said the hearing is scheduled for Wednesday and warned that the case will be judged on factual evidence rather than a "social media trial."

He added that each argument will be presented in court, aiming to dismantle what he describes as lies. The court document also lists the defendants' X handles and contact information.
