BJP reports spending of Rs 1,473 crore across seven state elections

The Assam unit allocated Rs 27.3 crore for travel of prominent campaigners, Rs 37 crore for advertising, Rs 8.9 crore for publicity items, and Rs 2.3 crore for miscellaneous expenses, alongside Rs 19.4 crore paid directly to candidates and Rs 16.7 lakh spent on publishing their criminal histories.
In Tamil Nadu, the party approved a total spend of Rs 44.5 crore for overall propaganda and Rs 7 crore earmarked for individual candidates. The figures reflect the party’s financial strategy across multiple state contests, highlighting substantial investment in campaign logistics and candidate support.
