Bo Bichette expected to return soon after ankle contusion

Bo Bichette incurred a left ankle contusion when a foul ball hit his ankle in the third inning of the Mets' Wednesday defeat. He was omitted from the lineup for Thursday's finale versus the Brewers, despite being eligible to enter from the bench, and did not see any action. Interim manager Andy Green called the injury a classic ankle contusion and indicated that Bichette should be fine shortly.
