Body discovered during extensive search for missing three-year-old in Suffolk
A body was found on Tuesday afternoon while police and volunteers continued the search for three-year-old Noah Woods, who vanished from a Brantham playground.
Three-year-old Noah Woods disappeared from a playground in Brantham, Suffolk, on Tuesday afternoon. He was described as a white child with curly ginger hair, partially deaf, non-verbal and autistic, wearing a Bluey-themed T-shirt, shorts and black Vans trainers. CCTV captured him leaving the playground and heading down an alley toward Decoy Fishing Pond.
An extensive search involving police, specialist diving teams, fire and rescue services and many volunteers was launched. This afternoon, investigators announced that a body had been found in the search area. Formal identification has not yet taken place, and the find is not currently being treated as suspicious.
