The remains of Ami Yogev, a 46-year-old Israeli trekker, were located in the Mavrologgos river on Olympus after he had been missing for several days. Private Israeli volunteers, together with the fire service, led the effort to locate him. Once found, a large recovery operation was launched, involving the 2nd and 8th Emergency Mountain Rescue Units and a firefighting team from Litochoro.
