Bomb threats force evacuation of three Delhi schools, police launch searches
Bomb threats were reported at the British School, Sanskriti School and Sardar Patel Vidyalaya in Delhi, prompting evacuations and police searches.
At approximately 10:30 am, the British School, Sanskriti School and Sardar Patel Vidyalaya in New Delhi district received bomb threat emails, causing immediate evacuation of students and staff. Police, bomb detection and disposal teams, dog squads and the Delhi Fire Services arrived to perform extensive anti-sabotage inspections of the premises. The searches have not uncovered any explosive material.
Officials are analysing the threat messages to identify their origin. Sardar Patel Vidyalaya informed parents that examinations were underway and that the school would decide on the continuation of senior-school exams after assessing the situation. All students were reported safe following the precautionary measures.
