Bombardier announced a $270 million investment to broaden its U.S. footprint, creating 800 new positions in Kansas, Texas, Indiana and Connecticut.

Bombardier revealed a $270 million plan to enlarge its operations in the United States, promising to hire 800 workers across Kansas, Texas, Indiana and Connecticut. The first phase includes 500 open vacancies and a further 300 jobs linked to new footprint projects, with Texas slated to add 150 roles. The firm also opened a North American Learning Center in Wichita and a 64,500-square-foot service facility at Fort Wayne International Airport.

Eric Martel, Bombardier’s president and CEO, said the expansion reflects constructive talks with the U.S. administration and a long-term commitment to the market. Senator Roger Marshall was praised for his support of the initiative, and President Donald Trump highlighted the deal on his social platform.
