The Cincinnati-based nonprofit health system continues to earn cash from its reduced ownership of billing firm Ensemble Health Partners. A recent private-equity partnership generated a $671 million payment, adding to a $427 million payout reported earlier in February. Both figures appear in Bon Secours Mercy’s second-quarter financial statements ending June 30.
